Sailing News Flash 21/11/09

Speers Point Sailing Club is now boasting the fastest growing fleet of over 18 foot Catamarans. We currently host 8 x Nacra 5.8's, 2 x Nacra infusions, 2 x Tornados, 1 x A class and 5 Hobiee Tigers. The club has already hosted a number of events that has seen over 20 boats within this class. The club also has a strong Tasar class ( approximately 11 boats) and a small fleet of very competitive Arrows

The club also provides sailing lessons ( see our sailing lesson web page link above) which is well supported and provides a continuous growth in new young members.

Without a doubt, the energy, synergy and harmony within the club makes it an absolute pleasure to sail every weekend.

For those that already have the skills and that like the thrill of some very exciting racing there are often people looking for crew. Another option is to look on the internet for boats of the types that currently sail at the club.
